Who is On Your Team

Often times it is easy to think that we are alone in our journey toward success.  The fact is that we are only as alone as we allow ourselves to be.  There are millions of people in the world who have common interests who are trying to follow a similar path.  These people should become our “support team”.

Our “support team” should be made up of a network of people who will offer us wise and positive feedback.  These people are not just people who will tell you what you want to hear but who will be positive while at the same time willing to give you feedback which could help improve your game plan.  These people make you feel inspired and help you become even better than you already are.

We have the right and the RESPONSIBILITY to select the people who will on our support team.  If your team seems to drag you down more then they help build you up then it may be time to rebuild your team.  You may want to join a club or organization where you will find people on a similar path.

The people we associate with on a regular basis influence us and our attitudes (whether we like to admit this or not it is just part of human nature).  Be smart and be selective about who you associate with and make an effort to build yourself a positive support team.

If you are unsure where to start here is a link to one of my favorite online support teams PDP (Personal Development Partners) the friends and associates I’ve gained through PDP are worth their weight in gold!
