Employee Appreciation
Most companies today are so focused on earning a dollar that they no longer care about the well being of their employees. Yet, humans are much more productive when they feel appreciated.
There is a movement lead by The International Center for Spirit at Work, designed to integrate the values of companies and their employees.
Judy Martin from Work/Life Monitor was kind enough to share this video with us. Wouldn’t it be awesome if this would take off on a grand scale? What would the world be like if every company adopted this? I can feel the ripple effect already!

The Seattle area has many family friendly companies. They have health clubs and encourage healthier living, they take break for a short relaxtion exercise and they have daycare on site. It only makes sense to keep your employee health instead only dealing with the people after they get ill.
I’m still on college and the teachers don’t seee to care how stressed we get, especially in the more difficult classes, so I have found several campus organizations to give me support~The Womens Group, Mental health help on a short term babis and Trio which is supplying me with a math tutor because I just doon’t get it yet. The women who run these program and winderful and kind and extra super supportive! I’m so glad I found them
