Personal Development Demands Success

36 Extra Hours Tag

Ed Mills from Evolving times started a meme that asks, what would you do with an extra 36 hours each week?

I have been tagged twice for this meme.  I am grateful to Karen Lynch from Live The Power (who happens to be my #1 favorite blogger), and to Jeanette Maw from LOA Playground for tagging me.

If I had an extra 36 hours a week I would…

Spend more time each week with my family.  There just never seems to be enough time to do everything I want to do (parks, games, or just hanging around chatting about nothing).

Then I would spend a couple hours each week studying this technology thing that sometimes gives me fits!  I’ve learned a great deal quickly but, I have so much more to learn.

I never have enough time to read as much as I’d like (not that I don’t read constantly, I just can never get enough).  Thanks to the $100 gift certificate I just won from Karen’s birthday contest I have a stack of books laying on my shelf just screaming for me to read them! Thank you again Karen.

I’d get to know all of the people that are being added to The Personal Development List.  I wish I could say I’ve had time to check them all out well but, the truth is even I have done little more than glance a few of them over.  (Don’t worry my intention is to get to know you all!)

Last but not least!  I’d spend more time in the outdoors.  I have a boat sitting in my driveway that is not getting near enough use.  I want to go catch some fish!

I choose to Tag two new friends from The Personal Development List:

Malathy Badri at Laws of the Universe

and

Judy at WorkLife Monitor

Woohoo! Wow, Priscilla that is quite an honor you have bestowed upon me! I am humbled and very, very grateful! Wow! Thank you!

And as for your extra 36 hours it all sounds so wonderful! Shall we set that intention to have that extra time now? (I recently heard an Abraham tape with a wonderful perspective on time that has really made me think differently about time itself! perhaps another post, another day!)

Thank you, thank you Priscilla, you have me laughing with Joy today!!

Hmmm, an extra day and a half to play with each week? Well, for starters, my wife and I would have a little more time to play… There are lots of things we want to do… classes to take, books to read, etc. I’d also spend some of that time on our business and get it moving up to the next notch.

Great site… I’ve added a link to it from my blog. Keep up the nice work.

Karen- My intending starts now. You deserve the honor! You do excellent work and you do it with heart! It shows that’s why I love it. Plus, you’ve proven to be such a great friend! What else could a person ask for in a blogger?

  4. Judy:

    Hello Priscilla,
I was happy to post on the Extra 36-hour Challenge. My post is below on The WorkLife Monitor.

  5. Edward Mills:

    Hi Priscilla

Thanks for joining in with this. I’d be happy to join you for a fishing trip some time! That’s something I didn’t add to my list, but now that you mention, would love to do more of!

Thanks also for starting the Personal Development List. It certainly has taken on a life of its own!

  6. priscilla:

Judy- You have motivated me to spend more time in meditation. You did a great job with this tag.

Ed- I’m pleased to participate. I had fun fantasizing about all sorts of things I could do with this time.

  7. Benjamin:

Over the last few months I have freed up 36 hours a week. I’m using it to learn how to help people communicate with each other - once I have figured it out, count me in for that fishing trip!

  8. priscilla:

Benjamin- Nice to see you here! Congratulations on your extra time. I would love to see what you come up with when you’ve figured out how to help others communicate.
