I Manifested a Button

I have been spending a lot of time recently on Karen Lynch’s site Live The Power.  Yesterday, as I ran across an article called Castles and Buttons where she talks about how she manifested a button.

I thought this sounded like fun.  So, I decided to try it.  I even wrote a comment stating this intention.

Last night as I took a shower, I started thinking about how Jack Canfield had his first million dollar idea in the shower.  Which got me thinking about the button which, I had decided to manifest.

I found myself thinking about how buttons are not really uncommon, and wondering how I would know that the button I find will be from manifestation, rather than just random luck.

I thought about how Karen said she found her button walking up the stairs.  Her button said Billabong on it, and she now keeps it on her vision board.  Where she can see it every day.

Letting these thoughts drift away I got ready for bed.  As I walked into my room I noticed that on top on my desk there was a purple button.

That’s weird; I’ve never noticed that before.  I wonder where it came from.  Could I have manifested this?  Maybe, I subconsciously already knew it was there.

With the button still in my hand I turned toward the door and started toward my sons room.  There on the bed was a shirt without thinking I reached over and started to fold it.  That’s when I saw it.  “Billabong” in great big blue letters.

Until yesterday, I hadn’t even heard the name Billabong since my brother went through his “skater/surfer” phase in the 80’s.  You’ll never convince me that this wasn’t  intentional.
